Circumstances: Jarkeius was abducted by three unknown males during an
early morning robbery on October 18, 2001. He may be injured and may
be in need of medical attention. Jarkeius' hair is in braids and he
was last seen wearing a red, white, and blue "Tommy Hilfiger" shirt
and a diaper. He may respond to the nickname Kisha.
Jarkeius was missing Thursday after two adults babysitting the child
were tied up by armed robbers and their home ransacked, police said.
Police were searching the area near the home in Leisure City in
southeast Miami-Dade County for Jarkeius Adside Thursday evening.
The robbery took place Thursday morning as the woman taking care of
Jarkeius was walking her daughter to the bus stop and confronted by
three armed men, according to the woman's report to police.
The men forced the woman into her home, where she and her common law
husband were tied up, police said. When the couple freed themselves,
they found several items were stolen and the baby was missing.
